The prices of US acrylonitrile remained the
same on the week of September 13 due to a lack of new indications. Spot acrylonitrile in the
US was stable at $1,680-1,700/mt FOB USG in September, based on the last
reported indications. There were no new offers, bids, or trades during the
week. According to one source,
"America's demand for acrylonitrile is steady but mixed," adding that
many US producers are involved in "make-to-order" transactions. The trader also stated that supply levels were still low
because there was no product accumulation in the US. Domestic ACN contracts were stable at 87.25 Cents/lb
