Spot prices of nitration-grade toluene
(MGT) and mixed xylenes dropped on June 27, in line with lower blend values and
falling gasoline prices. July
NGT and August MX were 595.00 cents/gal FOB USAG. Each was 13.50 cents lower on
that day. The assessment was adjusted to
blend values in the absence of new indications. Blend values were assessed at 164.9 cents/gal NGT, and
167.07 for MX. Unleaded 87 gasoline USGC prompt pipe was assessed at 387.49
Cents/gal. On Friday, gasoline prices
dropped by 1.43 cents and blend values fell by 12.18-12.24 Cents. According to the US Energy Information Administration, data
from the agency -- including inventories for gasoline and blending components
-- have been delayed by more than a week. Spot
