unchanged for the week ending Aug. 4. Low demand and higher energy costs meant
that prices were not affected by rising energy costs. A distributor stated that there were no changes
in the week, citing the market length across the C3 value chain. Participants
reported that prices rose across the market and that sellers were bullish about
their pricing expectations despite low buying interest. Prices have
not fallen despite a drop of Eur85-87/mt in propylene contract prices on Aug. 1. The strength
of prices has been driven by the rising cost of natural gas. Limited
