Due to stronger bids on
the CFR China market, Asian toluene rose $31/mt-$40/mt on Feb. 8. The domestic China prices have slid marginally from their
all-time highs of the previous day. On an
import-parity basis, the prompt domestic east China ex tank price was down
Yuan210/mt-Yuan230/mt ($28.93/mt). It was Yuan 6,850/mt-Yuan6,860/mt day on
day. Sources said that prompt and H2
February ex tank supplies traded at Yuan 6,970/mt-Yuan6,980/mt, and Yuan
6,980/mt-Yuan 6,985/mt respectively in the early sessions. After trading at Yuan 6,950/mt to Yuan 6,960/mt midday, H2
February supplies dropped to Yuan 6,850/mt-Yuan 6,860/mt at the Asian market
close. Sources said that a buyer was heard
at FOB Korean plus $118/mt-$120/mt to...
