Sources say that the Asian styrene market
dropped on Nov. 28, due to lower prices in China, a result of rising COVID-19
infection rates and weaker crude oil. Asian styrene monmer fell $20/mt to $923/mt CFR
China on Nov. 28, and $918/mt FOB Korea at $918/mt on Nov. 28. The domestic
China prompt marker was at Yuan 195/mt, Yuan 7.730/mt exp-tank. This equates to
about $936.45-951.55/mt if you consider import-parity. Multiple
sources said that discussions and market activity remained low on Nov. 28. One source
