Buyers from Asia were open to discussing
spot cargoes, but the downstream market continues to decline. Spot cargo discussions were heard from buyers
around Asia for September cargoes. However, volumes were not significant and
would not adversely affect fundamentals. The
downstream ABS market demand was weak as negative margins were still being seen
in markets. However, spot discussions remained low with buyers around China and
India for September cargoes. Prices dropped Yuan179-210/mt (2.22%) in the morning
trading session, before continuing their decline in afternoon trading to close at
Yuan7839-8200/mton on the day. Three consecutive days of decline
