ethylene spot market remained low, with very few indications reported by market
participants on April 21. Spot prices were
steady-to-slightly lower on the day as Mont Beliveau prices rose, while the Choctaw
prices remained flat. Based on an April
Choctaw/EPC exchange, April Mont Beliveau ethylene saw a 0.5 cent increase to 25-30
cents/lb FD Mont Beliveau. May Mont Beliveau
ethylene also tracked the movement, rising 0.5cd to 25-30 cents/lb FD Mont Beliveau.
This maintained the market structure and spread into the prompt month. Choctaw Ethylene remained stable, despite the lack of market
