- South Korea's MTBE Exports to Singapore Rise in July- 92 Ron inches down 0.23%; crude falls by 0.91% on day



Asian FOB Singapore MTBE dropped $21.90-27.50/mt
per day to $1,034.87-1,080.50/mt on Aug. 22. This was due to a flattening
backwardation forward structure and weaker energy complex. There is also easing
short covering for prompt cargoes. The
92 RON gasoline fell 0.23% to $108.29-120.50/b. Meanwhile, the front-month ICE
Brent crude oil futures were down 0.91% in the same time period at $94.68-100.50/b
by 4:30 PM Singapore Time (0830 GMT). The
backwardation was strong, with heavy selling interest in the back-month
shipments and active buying interest in the front-month cargoes. The inter-lay for the first half of September-H2 September
