Asian FOB Singapore MTBE dropped $11.50-16.50/mt
today at $1,073-1,100/mt July 20, under pressure from weaker 92 RON as well as
tumbling 92 RON. The 92RON fell 1.04% to $112.8-130.50/b
while the 92RON crack dropped 9.40% to $6.84-7.50/b. At $105.96-120.50/b
at 4:30 pm Singapore time (0830 GMT), the front-month ICE Brent crude oil
futures were 0.45% lower. This was due to the new highs for China’s COVID-19
case and the US stock build. South Korea's MTBE imports fell
66.91% in June to 5,025.70 mt, according to customs data. This was due to a
slowdown in international MTBE prices and tighter domestic supplies. In June,
