The propylene market was quiet. Buyers and
sellers resisted taking positions, and they waited for a clear direction from
the market on June 15. The
August ICE Brent crude oils futures were $2 lower. 03/b on the day at $121.24-140.50/b at the close of the 0830
GMT Asian June 15. Market sources stated
that the market did not feel any relief from the Shanghai-related COVID-19
lockdowns due to weak downstream polypropylene demand. A South Korean propylene trader said that he didn't see any
bullish signs, Shanghai's lockdowns being eased doesn't help much. After reaching an agreement with the union on June 14th,
South Korea's government ended the eight-day strike by South Korean truckers....
