Asian isomer-grade mixedxylene prices are
$3/mt less than Dec. 2, at $805/mt FOB Korea and $824/mt CRU Unv1. They were up
$5/mt at 845/mt CFR China Dec. 5, and down $5/mt at $845/mt CFR China Dec. 5. Although CFR Unv1 and FOB
Korea were lower due to falling downstream prices, CFR China prices were stable
and tight prompt supply. Paraxylene
dropped $16/mt on Dec. 2, to $899.33/mt CFRUnv1/China on Dec. 5. The isomer-MX
markets were quiet and thin throughout the day. According to market sources, supply was tight as sellers
asked for bids. These bids were close to $840-860/mt in January arrivals. Prices for January ex-tank in east China were in the
