FCFC runs No.2 SM plant at optimum capacity levels

Formosa Chemicals and Fibre Corp (FCFC) is presently operating its No.2 Styrene monomer (SM) plant at full rates. A source in Taiwan informed a team member, “The company is currently operating the plant at around 100% of production capacity levels. The plant was earlier running at around 90% of production capacity levels in June 2025.” Located in Mailiao, Taiwan, the No. 2 plant has production capacity of 350,000 mt/year.
