prices, talks in Asia's caprolactam market declined. Both sellers and buyers
agreed that rising feedstock prices had hampered the profit margins along the
caprolactam chain. They chose to remain on the sidelines. FOB Korea, benzene physical rose above $1,200-1,235/mt
during the week. According to a producer,
ammonia levels were also reported to have reached four-digit levels. Sources did not cite any indications during the day. Sources felt that the escalation in benzene prices was an
