the week ending February 16, Asian caprolactam markets saw both buyers and
sellers adopt a passive attitude. While nylon demand was weak, some
producers were open to adjusting prices to reflect rising feedstock
costs. A key producer in east China revised the caprolactam listing price
to Yuan 13,150/mt. The remaining producers in the region were
mixed. The March trade indications were slightly higher week-on-week, at
$1,720-1,760/mt. CFR Far East Asia caprolactam was $1,725/mt, CFR
Southeast Asia caprolactam was at the same level. Both were unchanged from
