CFR China propylene prices fell $10-15/mt
on Jan. 10vious Asian close of $79.34/b 0830 GMT. Sources said that many ,
as buyers had largely finished their restocking before the Lunar New Year. March ICE Brent crude oil futures contract fell $1.2/b from
its pre downstream plants were closed because market participants were on
holiday and that PP demand was decreasing, which reduced the demand for
propylene. Anqing Petrochemical, China,
restarted Jan. 10 its 210,000-mt/year acrylonitrile facility in Anhui. After a 60-day turnaround, the company was due to restart
the plant Dec. 30. However, this was delayed to H1 January after many workers
contracted COVID-19. A company source
