- Brent crude futures are up $1.63/b at
Asian closing- Producers worried about margins

Sources
say that Asian monoethylene glycol imports fell Nov. 22 due to weak demand. January
ICE Brent crude oil futures increased $1.63/b daily to $88.66/b by 4:30 PM
Singapore time (0830 GMT), Nov. 22. Market sources stated that Asian
margins remained a concern despite increasing capacity and higher upstream
prices. However, the second wave global capacity will be operational by the end
2023. They said that there was little chance of a sharp fall in Asian
prices as Asian MEG makers would be less competitive and reduce operating
rates.
