Sources say that Asian mono-ethylene glycol
imports were stable on Nov. 16, despite thin trade. January ICE Brent crude
oil futures increased $1.24/b on the day to $93.92/b by 4:30 pm Singapore time
(0830 GMT), Nov. 16. On the Dalian
Commodity Exchange, the January 2023 MEG futures contract fell Yuan 1 per day
to Yuan 3985/mt. The trader said that China
will continue to target Europe's supplies as the prices in Europe have been
higher than China's at $150/mt. The
freight rates between the US and China for a 10,000-12,000 mt parcel were
around $110/mt. Oversupply will be
increased by the opening of MEG plants in 2023, but traders warned that there
could be delays due to a weak macroeconomic...
