Due to increased market activity, US Gulf
nitration grade toluenes and mixed xylenes edged up on July 26. July nitration grade toluene was valued at
436c/gal, an increase of 7 cents. July MX was valued at 441c/gal FOB
USG. This is an 8-cent increase. Although bids for MX and nitration
grade toluene were higher, no trades were made. The
September NYMEX RBOB settled for 308.18 cents/gal, while the August RBOB
settled for 335.50c/gal with 27.32c backwardation. NYMEX WTI
crude oil futures dropped to $94.98-100.50/b.
