and a trader observed a dearth of bids. A trader stated that a seller was selling large quantities
of benzene, and this could have an impact on the market. Trading activity was picking up in the styrene marketplace,
with three spot transactions being made. Styrene
spot prices fell. Some speculate that lower upstream values may have affected
