Asian Benzene: Prices rise amid mixed performance upstream MRPL offers benzene in July loading : Offers for Sep arrival CFR China

The Asian benzene price was assessed at $710.33/mt on July 4, a $3.33/mt increase from the previous day, partly due to higher upstream prices. Brent futures fell 12 cents/b in the Asian trading session to $68.39/b. The naphtha mark rose by $1.375/mt during the trading session, to $578.75/mt. TotalEnergies purchased August FOB South Korea from Gunvor for $715/mt. GS Caltex purchased September FOB South Korea from TotalEnergies for $716/mt. The paper market time structure was flattened during the session. The spread between August and September FOB Korean contracts was assessed as flat after an offer of plus $1/mt. The afternoon trading session saw offers for cargoes arriving in September CFR China. The last offer was at $18/mt over the September Weekly Mean of (WMOPK). The cargo was a 6,000 mt...
