it dropped $33.56/mt. The structural supply of benzene remains long, as
evident by the East China domestic market which was evaluated during the week
in the contango for December –January ex-tank clay cans. Sources said that there was talk of factories making benzene
derivatives being shut down earlier to observe public holidays in
China. Domestic prices for downstream phenol plunged further to Yuan
8000/mt or $932.17/mt if you use an ex-tank basis. This represents a drop of
