in Asia's benzene market closed the 16th trade session on Dec. 16, with prices
rising, contrary to oil market movements. FOB Korea benzene physical
markers rose $17/mt, to $803.33/mt Dec 16. This is the highest they have been
since Nov. 23, when it was $807.33/mt. Brent crude futures fell $1.6/b to
$80.38/b by 0830 GMT. Participants were busy fulfilling February
cargoes. The February floating basis FOB Korea cargoes on flat were
offered for bid at plus $4/mt. This was in contrast to the February weekly Mean
of Korea base price. A few participants claimed that there were more spot

be headed towards Jiangyin, China, despite high...
