On May 30, the Asian benzene price was $8/mt lower than the previous day, at $706.33/mt. This was due to the weakness of the broader upstream market and the reversal of gains made the day before. The crude oil and naphtha price fell on May 30. The front-month ICE Brent contract was $1.19/b down on the session at the Asian close of $64.41/b. Meanwhile, the C+F Japan Naphtha marker dropped $11/mt to $558.50/mt. East China's domestic mark was Yuan 65/mt down day-over-day, at Yuan 5.825/mt. CFR China's marker was also $7/mt down on the day, at $722.50/mt. One trade was reported during the Market on Close process. GS Caltex purchased a July cargo at $707/mt FBO Korea from BP.
