US August DDP-benzene was 7.50c/gal more
than the previous day at 392.50c/gal on Aug. 11. This is in line with rising
upstream energy. WTI
crude futures closed at $94.34/b on Aug. 11, up $2.41/b or 2.62% Benzene rose 1.95%. The
benzene to crude ratio was 1.75, which is down from 1.76 on August 10, but
still below 2. -- this is the level at the which benzene & crude are equal
relative to each other and the annual average of the ratio in 2021. RBOB gasoline futures closed flat at 3.0715/b for 0.12
cents/gal, almost equal to the previous day. Benzene's premium against RBOB was 85.35 cents/gal Aug. 11,
up from a 77.97% premium on Aug. 10. According
