BASF is planning to shut down its Toluene diisocyanate (TDI) plant. A source in South Korea, informed a team member, “The company is likely to take the plant offstream around February 25, 2026 for maintenance. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located in Yeosu, South Korea, the plant has a production capacity of 160,000 mt/year.
