Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO) has declared force majeure (FM) on its Group III base oils in Sitra. A source in Bahrain informed a team member, “The company announced the FM around March 9, 2026, amid ongoing conflicts in the Middle East. Further details on the duration of the FM could not be ascertained.” Located in Sitra, Bahrain, the base oils unit has a production capacity of 379,797 mt/year.
