Asian Propylene prices: stable to firmer crude, rangebound / CFR China trades at around $825/mt / Domestic Shandong ex tank price firms

The Asian trading session saw crude oil futures mostly fluctuating. CFR China was $5/mt up day over night at $825/mt. FOB Korea was stable at $785/mt. The CFR China-FOB Korean spread increased to $40/mt. Trading sources reported that a CFR China deal was made for 2,300 mt propylene from Japan at $810/mt, with an arrival date in the first half May. Details could not be confirmed. Sources confirmed that another 2,300 mt was likely moving to South China in H1 May. The transacted price for this shipment was around $825/mt, CFR China. Sources reported hearing selling indications at $840-850/mt for East China, and at or above $830/mt for South China. Buying levels were around $815/mt.
