line with weak margins. The Asian propylene market was stable February 17,
because buyers were reluctant to buy spot materials due to a weak downstream
Polypropylene. The April ICE Brent crude oil futures contract fell $1.95/b
to $83.64/b at 0830 GMT at 4:30pm Singapore time. This was a decrease of
$1.95/b compared to the Asian close. An ongoing shortage in propylene
feedstock in Asia meant that a lower crude oil price did not affect propylene
imports. A Korean propylene producer said that ACN POAA is improving but
that polypropylene, 2EH and butanol are not so good. PP is the main
