As thin price negotiations continued, Asian
butadiene was rated stable on June 10. Asian butadiene was stable at $70-75/mt higher than a week
before, with the CFR China cost spiking $70-75/mt over the week prior to $1,580-1,620/mt
on June 10, catching up to the CFR Northeast Asia market. CFR China's level is at its highest since September 10,
2018, when it was valued at $1,620-1,650/mt. China's butadiene markets sentiment grew in the week that
began June 5, according to the bullish local China market. This narrowed
China's export opportunities. According to
market sources, China's supplier Sinopec increased its local price by Yuan
800/mt over the previous week, to Yuan 12,400-12,600/mt or $1,615-1,640/mt on
