$16-$20/mt for the week, $1,186-$1,230/mt CFR China Oct. 14. This was due to a
tight supply in China and a few international cargoes remaining amid low
operating rates among suppliers as well as competition from other markets. One trade was confirmed at
$1,210-$1,250/mt CFR China to arrive in November for duty-free origin. This was
then normalized to $1.186-$2.250/mt on an unassisted basis. Sources close to Sinopec said that China's largest OX
producer, Sinopec raised its price in East China from Yuan 300/mt in October to
Yuan 9,600-Yuan 680/mt on Oct. 10. The
East China price rose to $1,171.70-$1,230.56/mt based on import parity. A Chinese end-user stated that he wouldn't buy November
