Asian methyl methacrylate market prices dropped in the week to July 21, as rising Chinese capacity exerted downward pressure on export prices. Asian methyl methacrylate prices down $10/ metric ton week over week at $1,635/mt CFR China and $1,770/mt CFR Southeast Asia. Demand cues remained weak in the region with producers largely eyeing Indian buying interest, sources said. However, buyers in India were happy to wait for sellers to cut prices further, one buyer said.
