Most discussions on the Asian ethylene market were unchanged from the previous weeks. The majority of suppliers have sold out of material for June loading, and deals were made at an average discount of $42/mt compared to CFR Northeast Asia. Some buyers in the CFR NE Asia market procured material for Junearrival on a formula-based basis. Deals were heard at parity with CFR NE Asia. In the face of persistent volatility in upstream, few discussions were held on a price-fixed basis. On the Chinese domestic market, prices were down Yuan200/mt from week to week and now stand at Yuan6,750/mt.
