stable, as buyers resisted imports due to weak downstream fundamentals. According to reports, the
price gap between buyers and sellers was wide. Sellers were seeking to offload
cargoes at $1300/mt CFR China, while buyers were only willing to pay $1,150/mt. The CFR Taiwan market had a selling indication at $1,300/mt
CFR Taiwan. However, the buying indication was at far less than $1,180/mt CFR
Taiwan. "The downstream market is not
doing well, we are making losses, so the buying interest is low," a major
acrylonitrile butadiene- styrene producer in Taiwan said. The views were also shared by other buyers in the CFR NE
