Asian acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene, or
ABS, stayed flat on the week at $1,745-1,780/mt CFR China and $1,795-1,830/mt
CFR Southeast Asia on June 1, despite the gains in upstream styrene monomer
over the week. Sources
suggested that buyers' estimates were lower than $1650-1680/mt due to lower
domestic prices. Offers remained stable at
$1.750-2.500/mt CFR China. Domestic China
domestic: Quick delivery cargo discussions were held at Yuan 12,700-13.400/mt,
or $1,568-1.671/mt if import parity is considered. One producer stated that cargoes are plentiful right now and
another pointed out that China's inventory levels were high. Shanghai lockdowns, which began in April, have disrupted
