Asian ABS Gains $10-15/mt per week with stronger Chinese

$10/mt in the seven days to Jan. 4 at $1,260/mt CFR China on stronger Chinese
domestic indications, while the CFR Southeast Asia marker was unchanged at
$1,320/mt in a balanced market. Although
CFR China offers were heard $10-20/mt more week-on-week, trading has been
sparse. The domestic Chinese prices rose
to Yuan 11,650/mt or $1,400.30/mt if you consider import-parity. The demand and supply fundamentals for CFR Southeast Asia
remained largely unchanged. Styrene
monomer, which is found in the upstream market, gained $33.50/mt during the
week to $1.057/mt China Jan. 4. Butadiene gained $15/mt during the same period
to $855/mt China. Acrylonitrile was steady
