Exports in Jan-Sept Up 31% Year: ITCThe US spot export low density polyethylene
prices fell $22/mt over the week of Nov. 9. However, they remained flat
throughout the day based on stable pricing indicators. Based on prices that were
largely discussed in a range between 42-43 Cents rail car basis, the prices
were estimated at $1,047-1,069/mt (47.5-48.5c/lb FAS Houston). To cover shipping and packaging costs to ports, the
assessment also includes 5.5 cents per lb. Sources claim that export LDPE rail car prices were as high
