export acrylonitrile levels fell to a record high of more than two years on
Jan. 10. The main reasons for the price drop were muted buying activity,
declining raw material costs and decreased purchasing activity. Spot
acrylonitrile in the USA at $1,330/mt FOB USG Jan. 10, a $100/mt drop from the
previous week's levels. This is based on an indication of $1,320-1,340 FOB USG
over the period Jan. 4-10. Prices dropped to $1,400/mt in December 2020.
Data: ACN was last assessed at $1.325/mt Dec. 8, 2020. It rose to $1.395/mt the
