Asia-to-North America freight rates remain

polyethylene Terephthalate prices were unchanged last week at $2,282-$2,304/mt
(103.5-104.5c/lb). DDP US West Coast was based on stable pricing indications. The domestic PET railcar price was stable at $2,414-2,436/mt
(109.5-110.5c/lb). This is in addition to formula-based pricing that was based
on an indication received at $1.10/lb East of the Rockies, and recent producer
price rises. For Asian imports, container
freight rates were high. The rates for
Northeast Asia to the West Coast of North America and the East Coast of North
America were assessed last April 26 at $8.200-8.300/FEU, and $11,300-11,400/mt,
respectively. Rates from Southeast Asia to North America's West and East coasts
