claimed illegal waste trafficking was increasing due to tighter waste import
restrictions in many countries and the high costs of waste management
infrastructure. Some end-users were also
reluctant to repackage prime resin as recycled resin, traders claimed because
it was difficult to trace the source and trace the material. They also said that other traders weren't actively trading
because of large fluctuations in product quality and price. The final price is a function of how well the recycled resin is
