Asian recycled low density polyethylene prices remained stable in April 27
despite weak demand, especially in China, where there was a pandemic lockdown
affecting many areas. The gap in prices between virgin and recycled has widened. Prime resin prices rose in line with rising crude oil costs.
Recycled markets were slow because there was not enough raw material bales for
recycling and logistic costs. Shippers stated that this has led to an increase
