price- Sources provide mixed signals for low demand and lack
of supply

The US Gulf Coast spot MTBE
price fell on Oct. 31, with gasoline prices in front of the month falling. There
were no offers or bids to move the premium. MTBE 3.72 Cents per gall
was lower than the previous day, at 332.57c/gal. The MTBE premium remained stable at 80c/gal. According to one source, there was a "lull in buying
and mixing for the Mexican market", which kept trading activity low. Two sources suggested last week that physical MTBE was
needed, but there were no offers. NYMEX
December RBOB was 3.72 cents less at $2.5257/gal.
