Asian toluene prices dropped Dec. 19,
following crude oil futures. Overall energy complex fell $21/mt. an
offer last made at $770/mt. The
offer was for 2,000 mt loading January, ASTM D-841 with LC at sight. There was no trade. There
was no trade. Lotte Chemical was reported
to have received a premium of about "FOB Korea plus" $6-$7/mt for a
combined toluene-MX parcel. This premium is around $9/mt. The South Korean producers expected the 2023 term
cargoes would be at aroundFOB Korea plus $30-40/mt. However, these levels
