- China's Sinopec slashes daily list price- Rubber output falling within negative margins



Asian butadiene was mixed in June 16. CFR
China dropped $30/mt while CFR Northeast Asia and FOB Korea were stable. After the recent drop in
domestic markets, the CFR China butadiene benchmark price was under pressure. According to market sources, China's butadiene prices
continued to fall. Key supplier Sinopec cut its daily price by Yuan 300/mt to
Yuan 11.300/mt June 16, making it $1,461/mt based on import parity. An arbitrage window was again opened to ex-China cargoes
being moved to South Korea after the steep fall in China's local markets. A labor strike in South Korea's transport industry ended
June 15th, which meant that there was not much of a buyer appetite. The spot price in China rose Yuan 200/mt each day...
