ENEOS lowered the May ACP settlement by $15/mt  Sinopec increased its listed price by
Yuan 150/mt  



On April 28, Asian benzene
spot markets discussions were quiet while domestic Chinese prices rose due to
firm offers. Open arbitrage opportunities between
South Korea and the US-led to a tightening of Asia's local supply. This means
that there is less supply from local producers. Spot prices in China rose 45-50 Yuan/mt to Yuan 8,700-8750/mt
or $1,150-1,160/mt if you consider import parity. According to a company announcement, Japan's ENEOS published
the ACP settlement for May at $1,180-1,200/mt on April 28, down $15-20/mt over
the April settlement price. On April 25,
the company released the ACP nominee, which was $20-25/mt lower than the April
ACP nomination of $1,205-1,215/mt. According
