CFR Taiwan/China paraxylene price benchmark fell $8.83/mt on week June Ice Brent Futures fall by $1.58/b on week



The price of purified terephthalic Acid CFR China fell $7-10/mt on week
April 22 due to falling crude and paraxylene prices. June ICE Brent futures dropped $1-2/b week at $105-110/b at 4:30 pm Singapore time (0830 GMT), April 22. The CFR Taiwan/China Paraxylene price benchmark dropped $8-10/mt
in a week to be valued at $1,190-1,210/mt on Apr 22. Sources in China reported that they are seeing domestic PTA
demand and supply stabilizing after weeks of bearishness. There is growing optimism that the market's future outlook
will improve as the Shanghai lockdown situation is slowly improving. Domestic operating rates were hovering around 80% in the
