According to market sources, the Asia
naphtha market was bearish on Nov. 15. This is due to low demand for
petrochemicals worldwide. Steam crackers were heard making losses in producing
olefins. A naphtha
user stated that the international market is struggling and the economy is
weak. He also said that even though 2023 is approaching, the market will not be
able to recover quickly because of the large amount of downstream plastics
inventory. Market sources said that
despite the grim outlook, a new tender was issued for buy. Yeochun NCC, South
Korea, sought naphtha with a minimum 70% paraffin content to be delivered in H1
