The US Gulf Coast spot MTBE prices fell on
the day to a low of 331.88 cents/gal. This is the lowest level since
Oct. 24, when it dropped to 329.84c/gal. The spot market was quiet as both buyers
and producers were satisfied with the price. A producer
stated that there was lots of activity. Mexico's state-run Pemex refinery run
rates are increasing. The spot market was quiet as both buyers and producers
were satisfied with the premium.
