Asia MEG - Stable in thin trade■ Brent futures up at 74 cents/b■ Futures down Yuan 6/mtDue to thin trade on September. 2, Asian mono ethylene glycol imports were stable. October ICE Brent crude oil futures rose 74 cents/b to
$94.92/b, after the Asian close (0830 GMT) MEG futures traded on the Dalian Commodity Exchange were
settled at Yuan 6/mt Yuan 4,093/mt Ex-tank for January 2023 shipment cargoes. In Southeast Asia, discussions were muted. MEG traders stated that PET resins from downstream are
unlikely to have much upside. Sources said
that arbitrage windows between Southeast Asia, and the European and North American
markets should be open due to high freight costs and a healthy spread of
prices. Low feedstock prices have slowed
