Asia MEG Down on Low Demand■ DCE futures fall Yuan 17/mt■ The consumers continue to buy on a hand-to-mouth basisSources said that Asian mono ethylene glycol
prices fell on Aug. 3 due to weak demand. On the Dalian Commodity Exchange, September 2022 MEG futures
were active and traded at Yuan 17,17/mt. The day ended at Yuan 4,259/mt. MEG consumers were still buying on a hand-to-mouth basis,
traders said. They were not willing to take the long-term risks due to the uncertain
economic outlooks. The sources also said
that there was no indication of an upside in MEG prices in the near term amid
