Asia LPG prices rose slightly on July 5 but
fell behind the $19.04-25.25/mt rise in September ICE Brent crude oil futures.
This was because regional demand was not keeping up with supply. H1 August CFR North Asia
propane rose $2.5-3.1/mt to $778-800/mt, on July 5. The premium for H1 August CFR North Asia propane to August
CP swaps decreased by $3.5-4.2/mt over the course of the day to $43-48/mt on
July 5. H1 August CFR North Asian butane
was compared to propane at $2-3/mt, as compared to propane at $2-3/mt in the
previous session. On July 5, there were
two bids and one offer, but no trade was made. ITG Resources offered 23,000 mt propane...
